Seven companies from the region took part in the international trade fair. The joint stand was organised by the Export Support Centre of the Krasnodar Region as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project.
«Belarus remains one of the Krasnodar Region’s key foreign trade partners. Last year, the volume of goods exported from the Krasnodar Region to the Republic of Belarus rose by 14%. Participation in Belagro helps companies identify new areas of cooperation, expand their export opportunities, and reach agreements on supplies,» said Yulia Prikhodko, Head of the Department for Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Region.
The stand of the Krasnodar Region showcased industrial agriculture products, processing equipment, various types of packaging, and goods for food industry businesses. The exhibition was attended by representatives of trade and diplomatic organisations from Russia, Turkey, and Belarus.
Following the talks, companies from the Krasnodar Region reached preliminary export agreements worth approximately USD 1 million, covering supplies of vegetable oils to Belarus and Oman; machines and moulds for polyethylene terephthalate packaging production for Belarusian enterprises; and buckwheat, oilseeds, packaging materials, and chef's uniforms.
Belagro has been held since 1990 and is one of the largest international exhibitions for industrial agriculture in Eastern Europe. The event brings together manufacturers of products, machinery, and equipment across the agriculture, food, and processing industries, as well as representatives of trading and logistics companies from around the world.
